Active Art:
Abstract Card Making

at Aspen Art Museum

Join us for an engaging Active Art Workshop exploring Abstract Card-Making, inspired by the work of Jacqueline Humphries!

The session begins with a visit to the current exhibition featuring Humphries’ artwork. Participants will then head to the Education Workshop to create unique greeting cards using innovative layering techniques of vibrant acrylic, metallic, and glow-in-the-dark paints.

Learn the “scrape and reveal” method to uncover hidden colors and unexpected depth in your designs. All materials are provided, and participants leave with a collection of handmade cards to share with loved ones or display at home.

Light snacks and beverages will be available, including one complimentary alcoholic beverage per participant.
